The Pacific Northwest is world-renowned for its dramatic waterfalls, but beyond the famous viewpoints lie countless hidden cascades tucked deep within lush forests, moss-covered canyons, and quiet mountain valleys. This photography tour is designed for photographers who want to go beyond the well-known locations and also discover the lesser-known waterfalls that define the wild beauty of the region.

Over the course of this excursion, we’ll explore remote corners of the Pacific Northwest where pristine streams tumble over basalt cliffs, delicate ribbons of water spill through old-growth forests, and mist drifts through emerald green landscapes. These locations are carefully selected to provide unique compositions, fewer crowds, and the opportunity to create truly distinctive images.

Each stop offers a chance to work with the elements that make waterfall photography so compelling... soft flowing water, dramatic rock formations, vibrant moss, and beautiful forest light. We’ll photograph during the best times of day for light and atmosphere, often arriving early or staying late to capture soft light filtering through the forest canopy.

This tour is ideal for photographers of all experience levels who want to improve their landscape and waterfall photography while exploring some of the Pacific Northwest’s most enchanting gems.
