Join me for a private 7 day trip through some of the most impressive mountains in the United Sates, California's Sierra Nevada range. The eastern front of these massive granite spires overlook high desertsas well as the life-giving Owens River. The unique geology of this area creates a juxtaposition of 14,000ft tall peaks, cacti laden deserts, endless river bends, and geothermal features. Sandwiched between the Sierra and White mountains ranges, the Owens River valley is also the host to it's own unique type of lenticular cloud formation... the Sierra Wave cloud. The late nature photography legend Galen Rowell made this area his home for a reason; it's an artist's dream.
 
This is a private one-on-one tour for just you and me where we'll enjoy exploring the countless s-curve compositions along the expansive river, practice wide angle lens photography with exaggerated foregrounds of cacti, and take in intimate mountain scenics with long lenses as the peaks play in the atmosphere of the mountain weather.
